Forest Avenue pedestrian improvements to delay traffic Friday

Folks driving inbound on Forest Avenue during the workday Friday may find a traffic bottleneck, according to this notice from the city. Keep an eye out for a better way around if you think you might be using that route that day. Here’s the city’s announcement in full:

This Friday, a new pedestrian ramp will be installed at the intersection of Saunders Street and Forest Avenue. The work  will result in the closure of one of Forest Avenue’s inbound lanes between Pleasant Avenue and Saunders Street between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Commuters should to seek alternate routes to avoid traffic and delays. Remember to please share the road.
