Here’s a traffic advisory of note released recently by the city:

This Monday, June 4, and continuing for the next two weeks, natural gas lines will be installed along Washington Avenue from Veranda Street to Ocean Avenue between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. As a result, outbound traffic on Washington Avenue will be reduced to one lane. Commuters should to seek alternate routes to avoid traffic and delays.

In addition, natural gas line work is currently underway on Congress Street from North Street to Washington Avenue. The work is expected to continue through June 15th between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Two-way traffic will be maintained, but lanes will be shifted. Motorists are advised to pay close attention while driving through the work area and to seek alternate routes when possible to avoid traffic.

Remember to please share the road.
