Paving work on Auburn Street, through Payson Park to slow traffic

Here are a couple of traffic alerts to pass along for those of you out there who monitor this space before every drive. Both come from City Hall, and the first one impacts those planning to take Auburn Street or Jackson Street in the next hour. Read up:

[Friday], August 24th, paving work for a combined sewer overflow abatement project will reduce traffic to one-way alternating flow at the intersection of Auburn Street and Jackson Street between the hours of 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Motorists should seek alternate routes to avoid traffic and delays and as always, remember to share the road with bicycles.

This one pertains to Payson Park starting on Monday:

Next Monday and Tuesday, crews will be paving the roads that travel through Edward Payson Park between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. The park will be open to vehicular traffic, however, motorists should expect traffic and delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
